I’m a PhD student and lecturer at the University of Oxford. My research focuses on medieval Irish and Welsh historical writing. Specifically, I think about why medieval and modern readers engaged with pseudohistories (histories about events which didn’t happen), and why they invested time in debating, correcting, or criticising such texts. I studied Classics for my undergraduate degree, which is the study of ancient Rome, Greece, and other cultures based around the Mediterranean.
I also write short stories and interactive fiction, as well as design and program games. Please get in touch if you would like to see my writing or design portfolio, have a look at my publications page, or look at my socials below.
